In a video in possession of the Georgia Department of Public Safety and reviewed by the Associated Press, Braves pitcher Derek Lowe denied drinking or racing after being pulled over by police officers in Atlanta at the end of April. Lowe refused to take a breathalyzer test and was charged with DUI and reckless driving. Prosecutors later dismissed the charges after deciding that they lacked the evidence needed to pursue a DUI case against Lowe.
