Young Georgia man arrested for DUI and other serious charges

Adolescence is a crucial time in a person's life. It is a time where many important decisions need to be made; some of these are smart, and some are not so smart. Regardless, the decisions one makes as a young adult will affect one for the rest of one's life. Adolescence is usually when people begin consuming alcohol, which often leads to poor decision making. A Georgia young adult from Muscogee County has been arrested and charged with DUI and other serious charges after a morning of what authorities assert were poor choices.

Early in the morning, a young man allegedly came into a mobile home park and approached one of the mobile homes. He then supposedly threatened a woman by pulling out a knife and holding it against her throat. He then purportedly proceeded to steal the woman's car.

Police were dispatched to the scene and were listening to the woman's statement when they supposedly got a call about an hour later. Another officer pulled the young man over for unspecified reasons, and the officer claimed that the young man smelled like had been drinking alcohol. Nevertheless, there is no report that a Breathalyzer or field sobriety test was given.

The man was arrested and charged with DUI and aggravated assault. He was also accused of theft of a motor vehicle and false imprisonment, and was taken to Muscogee County Jail. This young Georgia man's life can be greatly impacted in a negative way if the allegations against him about his poor choices that morning are found to be true. Since we are dealing with the conviction of a possible first offender and young adult, solid effort will be required to ensure a concrete defense as well as fair and unbiased proceedings.
